The North East Texas Community Development Corporation (NETCDC) exists to provide stable, quality housing that strengthens families and supports long-term community wellbeing. We are a locally governed nonprofit committed to responsible property stewardship, resident dignity, and creating housing environments where individuals and families can grow, work, and thrive.

Our communities are intentionally designed to meet varying household sizes and needs — from single-resident apartments to larger family homes. Whether in a multi-unit building or a scattered-site neighborhood setting, each property reflects our commitment to safety, functionality, and long-term sustainability.

The Meadows (Scattered-Site Community)

​

The Meadows is a scattered-site residential community, meaning homes are distributed throughout the neighborhood rather than concentrated in a single building. This model offers residents the benefits of neighborhood integration while maintaining consistent standards and oversight.

The community includes:

• Twenty (20) 2-bedroom / 1-bath units (approximately 863 sq. ft.)

• Twelve (12) 3-bedroom / 1-bath units (approximately 1,052 sq. ft.)

• Four (4) 4-bedroom / 1½-bath units (approximately 1,351 sq. ft.)

 

These homes have been recently remodeled and feature:

• Granite countertops

• Tile flooring throughout

• Double stainless-steel sinks

• Ample cabinet space

• Walk-in closets

• Dishwasher, disposal, range, microwave, and refrigerator

• Washer/dryer hookups

• Cable-ready connections

• On-site parking

 

Most pets are permitted with an approved pet deposit.

The Meadows provides the feel of a traditional neighborhood with the structure and support of nonprofit housing oversight.

 

Bourn Street (Triplex – Multi-Unit)

 

The Bourn Street property is a three-unit building offering efficient one-bedroom living in a centrally located setting.

• 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom

• Dishwasher, disposal, range, and refrigerator

• Double stainless-steel sinks

• Tile flooring

• Ample cabinet space

• Walk-in closets

This property is well-suited for individuals or couples seeking manageable, thoughtfully maintained housing.

 

Ross Street @ Peters Colony (Duplex – Multi-Unit)

Ross Street @ Peters Colony is a two-story duplex constructed in 2017, designed with energy efficiency and modern features in mind.
